Back to HOREC

So today, was quite a day.  We spent most of the day at the HOREC Orphanage just playing with the kids.  We were able to give the kids necklaces that Kalli and Kendal made as well as Hot Wheels.  The Hot Wheel cars were a HUGE hit for the boys and the necklaces were popular with the girls.  Funny how that works.  One girl, named Mercy, even wrote a letter back to my girls thanking them for the necklaces.  It was very sweet.

We got to spend quite a bit of time with a 14 year old boy named Boniface, who was at the orpahange when Shelley and I went there in 2009.  It was great to see him, how much he has grown, and have my boys meet him.  Overall, the day was a huge success and I know that it impacted the boys.  Here are some pics from the day.

This is Kyce the first morning in Kenya, he speaks for both Korbin and I.

Here are the kids of HOREC.

Korbin made a new best friend, Alex. He was quite the handful and Korbin carried him around for most of the day.

Here's a great picture of Boniface and I.  He's grown up quite a bit. I love the ties of his school uniform. ;-)

Joseph always has a smile on his face.

Here's little Dani and one of the babies of HOREC. Dani was a baby the last time we were there.
