Pictures from Lucern, Switzerland

Shelley and I left for Zurich today.  We stopped in Lucern on a recommendation from a friend and co-worker and it was fantastic.  Here are some of the photos we took:

This is the most photographed bridge in Switzeland.  It is the only known bridge that does not go straight across the river.  It  has a turn to it.  Really cool.



The bridge has these very old paintings in the middle section along the top.



We walked for quite awhile in "old town" Lucern where theree are no cars allowed.  Lots of little cafe restaurants and we tried roasted chestnuts along the river.  Nice!


Finally, Bryan met his new best friend.  Too bad he can't come home with us.  : )

  1. We have a tradition of taking a picture of Troy next to any drugstore Indian that we see. You guys should start a tradition of taking a picture of Bryan next to any weird looking guy in leiderhosen! (Although that might be a little mor difficult here in the States...)
